Cookie policy

Cookies, only if you say so.

This page lists every cookie and storage item this website uses, how long each one lasts, and how you can change your choice at any time.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work in the same way. Some are needed to make a site work; others are optional and are only used with your consent.

2. Strictly necessary storage

This storage is always on because the site cannot remember your choice without it. It contains no advertising identifier.

3. Advertising and measurement (only with consent)

We use Microsoft Advertising’s Universal Event Tracking (UET) to see whether visits from our ads on Microsoft’s search network lead to enquiries. These cookies are set only after you click “Accept all” or switch on “Advertising & measurement” in Preferences. Before that, the UET tag is not loaded and Microsoft is told that advertising storage is denied.

Data from these cookies is sent to Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent. More details are in our Privacy Policy and in Microsoft’s privacy statement.

4. Fonts

This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address to deliver the font files; Google Fonts does not set cookies.

5. How to change your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Click Cookie settings here or in the footer of any page to reopen the Preferences panel, then switch advertising on or off and save. If you withdraw consent, we tell Microsoft that advertising storage is denied and delete the UET cookies we can access. The MUID cookie is stored on Microsoft’s own domain; you can remove it in your browser settings.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the site will ask for your choice on every visit.
